Welcome to Mount Adventure Nepal, a fully government-registered adventure travel company dedicated to providing exceptional trekking and tour experiences in the Himalayas. By booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey.

1. Booking & Payments
– To secure your booking, please complete our booking form with full passport details and trip information.
– A non-refundable 30% deposit of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking.
– Upon receipt of your deposit and documents, we will issue a confirmation with a payment receipt.
– Payment Methods:
– Bank transfer (client covers transaction fees).
– Credit card (Visa/MasterCard) with a 4% processing fee added.

2. Travel & Medical Insurance
– Mandatory Requirement: All clients must have comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering high-altitude trekking, emergency evacuation (including helicopter rescue), and medical expenses.
– In case of emergency, all evacuation and medical costs are the client’s responsibility. We will assist with documentation for insurance claims.

3. Cancellation & Booking Changes
– Cancellation Policy:
– 30% deposit is non-refundable.
– Cancellation must be notified at least 10 days before arrival in writing.
– No refunds for cancellations made less than 10 days prior or for incomplete trips.
– Postponement:
– Trips can be postponed with 30 days’ notice; a minimum fee of USD 150 applies, with the remaining balance credited to a future trip.
– Substitution: You may transfer your booking to another person if they meet all trip requirements.

4. Nepal Entry Requirements
– A valid passport (6+ months’ validity) is required.
– Nepalese visas are obtainable on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport or from Nepalese embassies abroad.

5. Risk & Liabilities
– Mount Adventure Nepal operates under Nepal Tourism Board regulations.
– We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by:
– Natural disasters, political unrest, flight cancellations, or government restrictions.
– Personal accidents, illness, or vehicle breakdowns.
– Additional costs due to unforeseen circumstances are the client’s responsibility.

6. Personal Belongings & Conduct
– We are not responsible for lost/damaged luggage or personal items.
– Disruptive behavior, unlawful acts, or premature trip termination void any refunds.

7. Eco-Friendly & Responsible Tourism
– We promote sustainable tourism:
– Proper waste disposal and eco-conscious trekking practices.
– Respect for local culture, traditions, and environmental conservation.
– Support for rural communities through education and financial aid.

8. Photography
– Always ask permission before photographing locals, especially children.
– Avoid photographing military/police zones unless permitted.
– By booking with us, you grant Mount Adventure Nepal the right to use trip photos (without identifying details) for promotional purposes.

9. Trip Grading & Inclusions
Trip Difficulty Levels:
– Leisure (Easy): Short walks, cultural tours, and gentle rafting.
– Moderate: 4-6 hours of daily trekking with moderate elevation.
– Adventurous: 6-8 hours of challenging hikes at high altitudes.
– Challenging: High-altitude expeditions (5,000m+) for experienced trekkers.

What’s Included:
– Airport transfers (arrival/departure).
– Guided Kathmandu sightseeing with entrance fees.
– Twin-sharing hotel (3-4 star) in Kathmandu (B/B basis).
– Domestic flights (if specified in itinerary).
– Trekking permits, guides, porters, and full-board camping/lodging.

What’s Not Included:
– International flights/Nepal visa fees.
– Personal insurance, meals in cities, gratitude (tips).
– Personal gear (sleeping bags, jackets available for rent).
– Emergency evacuation costs.
